Zikr Program – 15th Night of Sha’baan – Radio Islam

On this Mubarak night under lockdown conditions, our hearts should reflect the sentiments of the poetry of Khwaja Sb (R). Let it be emptied of all ambitions, desires and worries, waiting for the love and Noor of Allah Ta’ala to permeate it. This is a night to engage in Zikrull?h, especially Durood Shareef. Let us bring the ‘ship’ of the Ummah which is in the ‘storm’ of the Covid19 virus and other difficulties and problems, to safety by reading Durood Tunjeena with the intention of relief and the removal of the suffering; Allah Ta’ala will cause good conditions to prevail. When we are so weak, vulnerable and in a pitiable state, Allah Ta’ala is most willing to show His mercy and accept our repentance and Du’as. Turn to Allah, by taking His blessed and beautiful name, which encompasses the ‘Aah’ of His servants. The most important action of this night is to throw ourselves at Allah Ta’ala’s door, raise our begging bowls before our most merciful, kind and loving Master, and to plead our case before Him. These very hands which are a means of spreading the virus (by touch) can become the means for its removal, when we raise them before Allah Ta’ala! Cry, beg and beseech of Him with absolute humility and sincerity, on this Mubarak night when His mercy is pouring down like torrential rain, to accept our Du’as and fulfil all our needs!
