Islahi Majlis, at Musjid ut Taqwa on September 18, 2017

Sultan Ibrahim bin Adham (R) advised: ‘Bad deeds affects a person’s energy, and creates darkness in the heart, whereas good deeds are a source of energy and creates light in the heart’. Spending in the path of Allah is a superior form of Isaalus-Thawaab according to the Ulama. The recipients of charity given with the intention of Isaalus-Thawaab act as the ‘conveyance’ for that Thawaab (reward) to the Marhoomeen, and carry that Thawaab for us to the Aakhirah. When asked regarding the difference of opinion between Sayyidina Ali RA and Sayyidina Muawiya RA Hazrat Ibrahim bin Adham (R) began to cry and said: ‘He who knows the reality of his nafs will instead be involved in rectifying it, and the one who recognizes Allah will be involved in pleasing him instead of worrying about other people’. Nabi-e-Kareem (SAW) warned, ‘Fear Allah’ with regard to criticising or condemning the Sahabah-e-Kiraam RA, therefore we should not jeopardise our Aakhirah by indulging in such things. Regarding the Scholars of Deen he mentioned, ‘Verily Allah SWT averts calamities from befalling this Ummah because of the Scholars of Hadith whilst they are on journey for the acquisition of Islamic knowledge’.
