Lessons of Love & Unity amongst the Sahabah - Masjid Siratul Jannah, Evans Park, JHB
Special Programme, at Johannesburg on February 2, 2017
(Having love and reverence for the companions of Nabi-e-Kareem (SAW) is an indication of love for him.) Hazrat Muadh bin Jabal RA was one amazing Sahabi who accepted Islam at a very young age. It was the great fortune of Muadh bin Jabal RA that Nabi-e-Kareem (SAW) held his hand and declared his love for him, Allahu-Akbar! Our Rasool (SAW) was the embodiment of love, and it is this quality which must be propagated at these times of dissension and division in the Ummah. Nabi-e-Kareem (SAW) beautifully trained his Sahabah RA to convey the Deen with kindness, compassion, and by using a gradual approach. From the many advices he imparted to Muadh bin Jabal RA, Nabi-e-Kareem (SAW) told him to make things easy for the people and not to make it difficult, bring them close with glad tidings and not to drive them away from the Deen, co-operate with each other and not to be divided (in the efforts of Deen). This is what Nabi Muhammad (SAW) desired for this Ummah! He further advised Muadh bin Jabal RA be good to people in character and conduct. Our beloved Nabi-e-Kareem (SAW) had the best Akhlaaq and the most beautiful qualities. If we bring the teachings and qualities of Nabi-e-Kareem (SAW) into our lives there will be love, unity and progress. In this way Deenul Islam will spread, as nothing attracts people to Islam more than the Akhlaaq of a Mu’min.
