Islahi Majlis, at Musjid ut Taqwa on January 23, 2017
When discussing the lives of the Pious Akabireen such as Hazrat Moulana Abdul Hafeez Makki (R) justice can never be done. Hazrat led a very busy and occupied life in which there were no wasted moments. Allah Ta’ala kept him at the centre of the Ummah - Makkah Mukarramah, and many great Ulama who traveled there from all over the world would visit Hazrat and spend time in his khanqah. Hazrat was conferred Khilafah at the young age of 27 by Hazrat Shaikh Zakariyya (R), who had a great amount of confidence in him. Hazrat was a person with strong kashf, and Hazrat Shaikh (R) would send him to make istikhaarah and muraqabah at Raudha Mubarak, and would place a great amount of reliance on his inclinations. Hazrat is mentioned in numerous places in the autobiography of Hazrat Shaikh (R) ‘Aap Beeti’, where he speaks very highly of the khidmat of Hazrat and his father, refers to them as being beloved and confers many duas upon them. The amazing dreams of Hazrat (R) through which glad tidings were given to Hazrat Shaikh (R) from Nabi-e-Kareem (SAW) are also mentioned. Hazrat traveled extensively for the purposes of Tabligh, to fight against deviated groupings such as the Qadianis, to finalise publications of Hazrat Shaikh (R), and after the demise of Hazrat Shaikh (R) for the purposes of Tazkiyyatun-nafs and to establish the Majalis of Zikr. Hazrat Moulana Abdul Hafeez (R) had many beautiful qualities which were witnessed by all those around him, and was a true embodiment of the akhlaaq of Nabi-e-Kareem (SAW).
