Zikr Majlis, at Musjid ut Taqwa on March 17, 2016

The heart of a human being will always be restless until it finds Allah SWT, much like the needle of a compass which continues vacillating until it reaches true north. Allah SWT has placed within the human conscious the desire for the truth of Islam, and it is only when this destination is reached that tranquility of the heart and mind will be achieved. Every person is born on the natural disposition of Islam until the environment shapes him, and his parents lead him towards becoming a follower of a different faith. There are people who have explored many religions, ideologies and philosophies in search of contentment but to no avail, until Allah SWT lead the fortunate of those into Deenul Islam. By placing reliance on Allah SWT only and becoming His slave a person is freed from the slavery of men who are as just as helpless and dependant, and are prone to be disloyal. When a person turns to Allah SWT with conviction in a state of helplessness then Allah Ta’ala responds either by removing the problem immediately, gradually or granting relief through other means. A person may thus outwardly appear unfortunate and in difficulty but his inner core is content in comparison to a person who appears very fortunate outwardly but who has not recognised the objective of life. By keeping the company of those who have surrendered their hearts’ to Allah SWT a person will learn how to achieve this peace and will find contentment of the heart.
