Brief explanation of the poem of Hadrat Shah Muhammad Akhtar Saheb RA titled “Ye Subhe Madina,Ye Shaame Madina” We are currently in the season of Hajj, and as the Hujjaj proceed to Baitullah, they will also travel to Madina Sharif. Every Believer’s heart is there now, but even if we cannot be there personally, use the power of imagination and in an instant we could land in Madina! then Masjid Nabawi! Riyaadhul Jannah! Rowdha Mubarak! A Mumin should read Durood daily, and imagine he is presenting it at the Rowdha Mubarak with love and awe, then he will experience the treasures of Noor from Allah. A person wrote to a Wali and said "I desire to reside in Madina," he replied "It is better for you to be in your hometown and your heart be in Madina, than to be in Madina and your heart is elsewhere." In this poem Hadrat RA describes the beautiful, serene, tranquil morning and evening of Madina, he congratulates the person who is afforded the opportunity to visit Madina, reminds us that true ecstasy is not in the wine of the world but is being in Madina, even in the name Madina there is sweetness which will not be found in any other name. He then gives important advices on how to behave in Madina, and that the one who adopts the Sunnah, only will attain peace of heart.
