Ml Jalaluddin Rumi (R) was a great personality whom Allah SWT imbued with a lot of knowledge & whose heart was burning with the Love of Allah SWT. He wrote the famous book of poetry, Mathnawi Shareef, in which many lessons are derived from the stories mentioned, one of which is the story of Mahmood Ghaznawi & the 5 thieves, illustrating the importance of Ma’rifat of Allah.

Death is the destination, a blessing if prepared for. When the reality of death enters the heart & one begins serious preparations for this journey to Akhirah, then that is a sign that Allah has opened his heart for Islam & he journeys on a light from his Rabb.
