SUPERSTITIONS – A Fools Mentality

The power and decree of good & evil is with Allah Ta’ala – this is the belief of a Muslim. Superstitions, on the contrary, are baseless ideas of Jahaalah (ignorance), conflicting with this belief, hence, a form of shirk. Bad luck is not in a number or some month etc , but is the result of bad character, bad habits, bad company and bad places. Unlike the doomsday cultists, people of Imaan are people of hope, peace, bravery & optimism – all of which make the direct opposite of a superstitious attitude
