The sublime conduct of the noble Prophet S.A.W - Masjid us Saliheen
Special Programme, at Musjid-us-Saliheen, Sherwood on November 22, 2017
Every Mu’min must have such love for the Seerah, that we make studying it part of our daily routine, in order to establish a connection with the life of our beloved Rasool (SAW) We can then draw from this ocean of inspiration in every situation and difficulty in life, and find our way in light of the beautiful principles of the Seerah. Allah SWT praises the character of Nabi-e-Kareem (SAW) emphatically in the Holy Quran: ‘Wa-innaka la’ala khuluqin a’atheem’ [68:4]. Sayyida Khadija RA praised Nabi (SAW), enumerating his noble qualities as a means of consolation when he was overwhelmed on the occasion of the Wahi. Nabi (SAW) was a unifying force, and he declared disunity to be a ‘razor’, which ‘shaves’ one’s Deen. The famous incident relating to the placing of the Hajre Aswad, and his involvement in a pact (Al-Half-al-Fudhool) promoting justice are glimpses of his noble character, even before the advent of Islam; and once Allah SWT crowned him with Nubuwwah, all his beautiful attributes began to really shine forth. Islam spread rapidly once nations and tribes had the opportunity of interacting with the Muslims and witnessing their lofty character and qualities firsthand. If we want people to be attracted to Deenul Islam we must become the embodiments of the beautiful Akhlaaq of Nabi-e-Kareem (SAW).
