Importance of Women's Rights in Islam - Eid ul Fitr

Eid ul Fitr, at Orient Eid Gah on August 9, 2013

Coincidently this day of Eid is also Women’s Day, so we’ll discuss Women’s Rights. Abused, exploited, considered as equal to animals & sacrificed to even devils... that was the pitiable state of women before Allah Ta'ala elevated them like never before through Islam. With an entire chapter of the Qur'an dedicated exclusively to women, Allah, Himself, intercedes on their behalf, restoring their rights of protection, honour & dignity by commanding that they be treated with kindness. Fear Allah regarding her & prove to the world that she is not oppressed.
