Bani Isra’eel – Lessons for this Ummah

The repeated mention and admonition of the Bani Isra’eel in the Qur’an Shareef is for this most beloved Ummah to take heed, as the similarities between us and them are many .Just as many in this Ummah are attracted to the ways of the kuffar, the Bani Isra’eel became attracted to the frivolous show of the Mushrikeen due to weakness of faith. Forgetting their divine favours, they became ungrateful and disobedient earning the anger of their Prophet (AS) and their Lord…….. Will we follow or will we take heed?
