Lessons for this Ummah from Bani Israel

The similarities between this Ummah and the Bani Israel are many, hence, their repeated mention in the Quraan Shareef. The objective is to reflect over their pitfalls & avoid making the same mistakes….They were selective of what they practiced – taking some and leaving some, which resulted in their disgrace & humiliation. As long as this Ummah does not take hold of the Quraan with power (i.e. practice fully), we will not attain the position of power and honour.
