Towards the Grave

Zikr Majlis, at Musjid ut Taqwa on April 17, 2014

Explanation of the poetry,’ Dunya Ke Ae Musaafir’ discussing the ultimate destination of every human being i.e. the Aakhirah. It is important to take out time every day & reflect about maut/ death & the Hereafter, so that we don’t forget about our purpose in this world & make the necessary preparation for it. We are travellers of this world travelling towards the grave. This journey is of 2 days, the day we are born & the day we die. Millions, billions have come and passed their time in this world and have returned to the ground, no one has lived here forever. One day it will be our turn, so prepare by making Allah happy, so that when our maut comes, we will be looking forward to the Aakhirah with sufficient provisions.
