Allah Ta’ala calls the believers to intensify in His Remembrance even after the completion of the rites of Hajj. Many Hujjaj today fail to heed this reminder and fall into complete ghaflat (indifference) and even sin. Further, the people of Imaan are warned against making dua exclusively for the things of this world. Rather, Allah Ta’ala encourages seeking from Him the best of Dunya and Aakhirah (“Rabbana atina fid dunya hasanah ….”). Though limited in words, this dua provides a ‘comprehensive cover’ of blessings which extend over the needs of this life through to the hereafter. One of them is Imaan at the critical time of death, when the devil spares no soul in his final attempt to snatch away the wealth of salvation.
