There’s no better time to get close to Allah Ta’ala than Ramadaan. The second half of Ramadaan can be used to compensate for our short-comings of the first half. As we near the climax of this month, the last ten days require maximum exertion for maximum benefit and the best way to achieve this is to ‘set camp’ in Allah’s House by way of I’tikaaf, at least Nafl, if not Sunnah, to get taste of it. With Eid around the corner, let us open up our hearts & spend to ensure that the poor of the Ummah also enjoy a happy Eid.
