Ummah suspended, but not dismissed

Ummah suspended, but not dismissed

Islahi Majlis, at Musjid ut Taqwa on December 12, 2016

In this Majlis the advices given by Hazrat Moulana Khalil-ur-Rahman Sajjad No’mani DB at Isipingo Beach Masjid were shared.
Moulana began by explaining: Allah SWT informs us in the Quran that the condition in the world will never remain the same at all times, and this is the system of Allah. Moulana then raised the question which troubles the minds of most people in this day and age: for how long are Muslims going to remain downtrodden and oppressed, and why is this happening? Hazrat explained we fail to find an answer due to our lack of understanding of the Sunnah of Allah SWT. The Qudrat of Allah Ta’ala operates under the Sunnah of Allah SWT. Today because the Ummah has lost sight of this, there is frustration and despondency. Allah Ta’ala appoints His representatives on earth to restore the state of affairs when the system becomes corrupt. After the final Nabi Muhammad (SAW) the responsibility fell on his Ummah to restore order in the world. When the Ummah were doing the work of the Ambiyaa AS, and following the guidelines of Nabi-e-Kareem (SAW) they became the model Ummah and made the greatest amount of progress. Sahabah-e-Kiraam had a profound understanding of their purpose, as well as the system of Allah. Allah SWT “suspended” the Ummah from its’ position of leadership over the world when they lost sight of the goal as liberators of mankind. The Ummah is not however “dismissed”, therefore this is a temporary situation which the Ummah has brought upon itself. We should develop the qualities and build the capacities within ourselves, then we will achieve that position of glory once more. In this interim period the Ummah must engage in introspection, istighfaar and reformation of its’ condition. Khilafah will not be established overnight, rather supreme sacrifice and effort is required to achieve that objective.
