The Sequence of Sulook: The Objective is for Islah
Islahi Majlis, at Musjid ut Taqwa on January 18, 2016
Islah requires that all aspects of huqooqullah and huqooq ul ibaad must first be fulfilled, thereafter we do auraad, azkaar, wazaaif, mamoolaat etc., and then we adopt the nawafil ibadah which draws one closer to Allah SWT. Bay'at is about rectification of our mistakes and putting our life in order else there will be no real benefit, nor is there guarantee of najaat and salvation for such a person in the Hereafter. It is the tarteeb that islah comes first by the removal of akhlaaq e razeela, then the adornment with akhlaaq e hameedah. Clean the nafs first as the heart will attain a glow and lustre only after the impurities have been removed. When there is permanence in one's Islah in the case of deep rooted tazkiyah, at the time of any inclination towards akhlaaq e razeelah a person will immediately stop himself without consciously devising any specific plan. The calibre of such Auliyaa who have left will not be seen again. If we do not value and appreciate the Ulama who we have now, who are a replacement of those past personalities, then they too will leave without us taking benefit, leaving us deprived.
