The Sequence of Sulook: Importance of Knowledge

When a person has Huzoore Haqq/Khushoo'/Ihsan (the presence of Allah in the heart) then all activities become Ibaadah. Then there will be reality in the purpose of existence. All necessary off-shoots of one's life will then be connected to Ibaadah. This being the case, the primary pre-requisite before undertaking these activities, is attaining the necessary Ilm (Shar'i knowledge). Without this pre-required, Ibaadat of Ilm, no other Ibaadah will be completely correct and any Ibaadah not performed correctly has no chance of being accepted!
