Recognising the Greatness of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam)

Why do we continuously extol the praises of Rasulullah (SAW)? So that deep seated love can develop in our hearts, and that He becomes our role model and we emulate Him. We should lavish as much praise as we can upon Him. As the poet says ' I have not praised Rasulullah (Salalahu Alahi Wasalaam) with my words, but rather my words have been praised by mentioning Him.
It is unfortunate that if you ask a Muslim, who is your role model? He will reply Rasulullah Salalahu Alahi Wasalaam,however the practical manifestation is very little or absent. The solution to the problems of the World is in following the Sunnah of Rasulullah (Salalahu Alahi Wasalaam). Even in this country, the two hot topics are Racism and Drought, both solutions will be found in the life of (Rasulullah Salalahu Alahi Wasalaam). Remember we are all the children of one father and mother. In drought He gave us guidelines too, i.e. Istigfaar etc. If the community at large takes the bold step to reform, Allah's help certainly will come.
