Upon Hz Hakeem Akhtar Sb's (R) constant Dua for a companion whose heart is aflame with Divine Love, Allah Ta'ala sent Sayyid Ishrat Jameel, affectionately known as Meer Sahib. If one wants to truly understand the concept of Fana-fish-Shaikh (selflessness before one's Shaikh) & khidmat in a broader sense, then he should look at the life of Sayyid Meer Sb (Rahmatullahi alayh). His physical khidmat was no doubt remarkable, but the spiritual khidmat he rendered, tirelessly, day & night, capturing & conveying his Shaikh's teachings, set an inspirational standard for Mureedeen to aspire for many incidents of his life are truly inspirational. May Allah Ta'ala forgive him, elevate him, & honour him with His Eternal favours - Ameen.
