Safety is in being close to Him
Zikr Majlis, at Musjid ut Taqwa on January 7, 2021
Mankind as a whole is going through major tests and crises. Allah brings difficult conditions and hardships because of our actions and deeds... What is the solution? Turn to Allah ?Ta’ala, by pleasing, obeying, remembering and being grateful to Him. The only safety from the One ‘shooting’ the ‘arrow’ is to stand next to Him! The greatest ‘wazifa’ for now is to run towards Allah, with actions that please Him; if we take one step in His direction, He will come running towards us! A filthy person is not in a worthy condition of being close to the king; we are all covered in the filth of sin and need to purify ourselves with a ‘spiritual’ bath, which is a very quick and easy process: sit on the Musallah with regret and remorse and beg Him for forgiveness. The challenge then is to continue with Istiqamah (steadfastness) on our Taubah. But, no matter how many times we break our Taubah, don’t let shaytan deceive us, have full conviction that Allah Ta’ala is Most Forgiving! We should seek forgiveness for ourselves and the whole Ummah; it will turn the tide, cause the Rahmah of All?h to descend and athab to be removed.
