Rajab \u2013 time to reconnect with our Rabb - Masjid Yusuf, Parlock<\/h2>

Zikr Majlis<\/a>, at Musjid-e-Yusuf, Parlock<\/a> on February 27, 2020<\/span><\/p>
\r\n

Rajab is the beginning of a high spiritual season, followed by Sha\u2019ban and then the greatly anticipated month of Ramadan. From the amazing example and wisdom of Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam, we are taught to make the Du\u2019a, \u2018Allahumma barik lana fee Rajab wa Sha\u2019ban wa ballighna Ramadan,\u2019 as a means of preparing us for the great month ahead. This is a time to decrease our worldly endeavours and increase our spiritual activities \u2013 purify the soul in Rajab and Sha\u2019ban to receive the month of Ramadan. In the \u2018tug of war\u2019 of life, dunya may be pulling us, but we must push towards the Akhirah, then we will be successful in dunya and Akhirah! The time of hisaab (reckoning) is coming nearer, yet man is in a state of heedlessness. The conditions around the world are a wake-up call for us! Many people are in a state of depression and panic; at such a time remember, our Rabb is Allah! As children are carefree knowing their \u2018Abba\u2019 (father) will provide for and take care of them, develop the Yaqeen (conviction) that my \u2018Rabba\u2019 is the Sustainer, He will provide for me. Through adversity and prosperity, turn to Him and adopt Istiqamah (steadfastness) on His orders; the ultimate glory and success of Jannah will be the reward! By making His Zikr, the sweetness of Iman will come into our hearts, and to practice Allah\u2019s orders will become enjoyable. Strive to bring Deen alive not just in our homes, but in every Muslim home; the difficulties the world is facing will be removed and Barakah and Khair will prevail!<\/p>\n
