Recognising Allah, Loving Allah - Masjid Noorul Islam, Spencer Road<\/h2>

Ashaar: Ilahi ye alam he gulzar tera <\/p>\n

In a Hadith-e-Qudsi, Allah SWT informs us, \u2018I was a hidden treasure and I wished to be recognised, so I created the creation\u2019. It is the recognition of Allah SWT that leads to His obedience, worship and love. Glimpses of the recognition of Haji Imdadullah Muhajir Makki (R) is seen in the poetry that was recited. He describes the universe as the \u2018garden\u2019 of Allah SWT, an amazing manifestation of His Greatness, where there is the blossoming of beautiful roses of joy \u2026 attached to the thorns of sorrow. If we know about the stock markets, price of gold and exchange rate, but have failed to recognise Allah SWT, we have failed our purpose of creation! Allah SWT gives us the remedy in the Qur\u2019an \u2013 \u2018If you want to know Ar-Rahman, ask those who know about Rahman\u2019. By being in the company of those who have recognised Allah, we too will acquire His recognition and love, lending strength to our Ibadah. The sweetness of Allah\u2019s name brings delight and tranquility to the heart of one who has recognised Him. The love of Allah supersedes the love of all else and staying away from haram becomes enjoyable. A person develops the quality of overpowering the nafs and attains the rank of Mutaqqi (a person of Taqwa). It is the experience of the Auliya that the dua made at the moment of fighting the desire for sin is immediately accepted by Allah!<\/p>\n
