Inspiration from the Miracle of Me'raj - Avondale Musallah<\/h2>

Special Programme<\/a>, at Avondale Musallah, Durban<\/a> on April 24, 2017<\/span><\/p>

The Mi\u2019raj was the greatest miracle granted to Nabi Muhammad (SAW), after the Holy Quran. Allah SWT has given us these miracles to strengthen our Iman, and to increase our love and reverence for Nabi-e-Kareem (SAW). As Believers, we should follow in the footsteps of Abu-Bakr as-Siddique RA and wholeheartedly testify to these miracles, without the slightest hesitation. All other laws of Shariah were revealed on this earth, but Salaah is such a great injuction that Allah SWT brought Nabi-e-Kareem (SAW) close to Him to confer this wonderful gift upon him. Salaah was given to Nabi-e-Kareem (SAW) as consolation for the suffering of \u2018Amal-Huzn\u2019 (the year of grief), and as such is a means of relief for all those who are in pain and difficulty. Through Salaah we are able to take from the treasures of Allah SWT, and it is a means of enhancing and making easy our rizq (sustenance). There are many rewards and benefits of Salaah in this life, as well as the Hereafter. From the \u2018Israa\u2019 we learn the significance of Masjidul Aqsa, and it is there that the Imamat of Nabi (SAW) over all the Ambiyaa AS was established. We should never be negligent or forgetful of the plight of the Muslims in Palestine. We have lost Masjidul Aqsa because our Iman became weak and we began neglecting Salaah. We should resolve to make effort on ourselves, our families and our communities to establish and be steadfast on Salaah, in order to gain the help of Allah SWT. We will then see a transformation in the Ummah and conditions will change to that of victory, prosperity and success.<\/p>\n
