\u2018Every saint has a past, and every sinner has a future\u2019 - Allah Ta\u2019ala in the Quran encourages even those who have committed major sins to make taubah. Nowadays due to the condition of the Ummah, Mashaikh readily accept people for bay\u2019at as a means of abstaining from shirk, sin and fulfilling faraidh. If a person starts the process of reformation (islah) and is sincere, and carries on striving, bay\u2019at becomes a means through which Allah Ta\u2019ala makes easy the path to Jannah. Mashaikh wish to instill in a mureed that every aspect of a person\u2019s life should be refined such as akhlaaq, etiquette, conduct, manners, habits, etc.<\/p>\n
