Sickness - Mercy for a Mu'min<\/h2>

Jumuah<\/a>, at Musjid ut Taqwa<\/a> on January 23, 2015<\/span><\/p>
\r\n

People being afflicted with previously unheard of illnesses has become common in the world today. Islam has given us complete guidance on how to cope with illnesses. Sickness is a mercy for the Believers. Allah purifies a person via sickness till all sins are forgiven. Allah Ta'ala through sickness makes one helpless and causes him to call out to Him. So in a Muslim's life all conditions are win-win situations. Fever too is a means of cleansing for a person. Nabi (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) used to get double fever. Ubayy bin Ka'ab (RA) made Dua for fever, but which would not affect his Ibadah and striving for Allah. Hajee Imdadullah Sb (R) taught how to ask Allah to replace the blessing of illness with the blessing of health because of our weakness.<\/p>\n
