Ashaar: Koi hajat ho rakhta hu teri chokhat pe sar apna<\/p>\n

The poetry of Arif Billah, Hazrat Maulana Shah Hakeem Muhammad Akhtar Sb (R) which is a munajat (du\u2019a) asking for the recognition of Allah SWT is discussed. The way to achieve this is through those who have recognized Allah and by learning His beautiful names and attributes. Once a person has recognized Allah SWT, everything else in this world loses its magnificence, grandeur and awe, because in reality it has no greatness! Nabi-e-Kareem (SAW) has mentioned that the person who memorises the 99 names of Allah will enter Jannah. Through the Zikr of the names of Allah and Kalimah Tayyibah, with the depth of understanding Allah\u2019s attributes, a person will reach a point where he won\u2019t desire for anything, but to be close to Him. Such must be the Ma\u2019rifah of Allah that a person has no hopes or expectations of the makhluq, but instead, when in need, bows in Sajdah at His doorstep. Then, if Allah SWT grants through the makhluq, it is a means of reward for that person, and if He withholds there is no complaint. Through the Ma\u2019rifah and Tauhid of Ibrahim (AS), Allah SWT turned the fire of Namrud into a \u2018garden\u2019 of safety and tranquility. The Iman of the Believers will be tested, and the outside world may appear to be a fire, but in reality it is a \u2018garden\u2019 for one who is perpetually in the obedience of Allah and excessively involved in His Zikr!<\/p>\n
