Zikr Majlis<\/a>, at Northway Musallah, Durban North<\/a> on January 10, 2019<\/span><\/p>

The activities of a Masjid is its true beauty and adornment. There are many Masjids around the world with beautiful structures on which billions have been spent, yet the only Salaah that is held is Jumu\u2019ah and otherwise, it is a tourist attraction. There is nothing wrong in people visiting a Masjid, as this can be a form of silent Da\u2019wah and dispel many myths and misgivings about Islam. The serenity, effulgence and presence of the Malaikah creates an ambiance in the Masjid that affects the heart. In the time of Nabi-e-Kareem (SAW), the delegation from Najran who came to debate with him were accommodated in Masjidun Nabawi Shareef. The main \u2018power station\u2019 of the Ummah is the Baitullah, from which spiritual power is supplied to all the \u2018substations\u2019 of Masaajid around the world. Those who frequent the Masjid take a \u2018power connection\u2019 to their homes, maintaining a spiritual connection with Baitullah. A Masjid is a great bounty of Allah, which comes with the responsibility of upholding the highest respect for it by keeping it abaad (occupied). It is a sign of Iman to be connected to the Masjid. Brothers should frequent the Masjid and make effort on those in the area by inviting and helping them to come to the Masjid. The lesson learnt from the poetry of Iqbal is that with heat of Iman, a Masjid can be built overnight, but the challenge is in building the Musallees! Keep the Masjid abaad by patterning it on the mould and activities of Masjidun Nabawi Shareef.<\/p>\n
