Allah SWT imbued Hazrat Shaikh Zakariyya (R) with the hightest level of Taqwa, Wilayat and with knowledge, wisdom and intelligence par excellence. Hazrat Shaikh\u2019s famous book, Fadhail as-Sadaqat covers the rewards of charity as well as the causes that deprive a person of this virtuous act, which is primarily love of wealth and love of this world. Shaytan whispers fear of poverty in the heart which becomes an obstacle to spending in the path of Allah. The gems and inspiration in Fadhail as-Sadaqat gives a person the ability to ponder over the fleeting nature of this world, which reduces the love of material things and creates a yearning for the Aakhirah. In Surah A\u2019ala, Allah SWT warns of the malady of giving preference to the life of this world and prescribes the remedy in focusing on the life of the Aakhirah which is better and everlasting! The scriptures of Ibrahim AS also mention the contemptibility of this world, as well as the light which the Believers will be raised up with on the Day of Qiyamah. The light of the Believers on that day will be dependant on the strength of Iman in their hearts and their righteous deeds. In Ma\u2019ariful Qur\u2019an Hazrat Mufti Muhammad Shafi Sb (R) has mentioned 11 causes of light and 1 cause of darkness on the Day of Qiyamah. We should research and revise these lessons so we can retain the knowledge and implement it in our practical lives. <\/p>\n
