This week has been ear marked as Israeli apartheid week. Palestinian people have been subjected to oppression, tyranny and gross abuse of human rights. As Muslims we need to play our part to identify, promote and expand on good practices to root out racism. The month of Rajab is one of the 4 auspicious months. In this month rewards are multiplied and we should engage in greater acts of Ibadat. Imam Shafee (R) states that the first night of Rajab is a night of acceptance of dua. Nabi sallalhu alaihi wa Salam used to make dua for blessings in the month of Rajab and Shabaan and let us reach the month of Ramadaan. If winds of goodness start blowing in the month of Rajab, and the clouds start forming in Shabaan, we shall have beautiful spiritual rain in Ramadaan.<\/p>\n
