Advices of Fuzail bin Ayaaz RaH - Part 6<\/h2>

Islahi Majlis<\/a>, at Musjid ut Taqwa<\/a> on March 27, 2017<\/span><\/p>

The words of advice that come from the heart of the Auliya Allah have impact because they were the embodiment of these words. We should gather these \u2018pearls\u2019 of advices just as people gather jewels and diamonds, and store them in the \u2018safe\u2019 of our heart. The very essence of \u2018husnul-khulq\u2019 is tawadhu (humility), which is also the antidote to the fatal spiritual malady of pride. Hazrat Fudhail bin \u2018Iyadh (R) mentioned; the person who considers himself worthy has no share in humility. He advised Hussain bin Ziyaad (R) upon meeting him in the Haram of Makkah, \u2018You should consider yourself the worst of all people in this Haram\u2019. Such humility must not simply be \u2018lip-service\u2019 with the intention of impressing and gaining the respect of people. A person must truly consider himself to be sinful and unworthy, and have tawadhu solely for the pleasure of Allah SWT. Fudhail bin \u2018Iyadh (R) defined humbleness as wholeheartedly submitting to the truth even though you heard it from a child, or the most ignorant of people. He further advised, \u2018Do not hurl abuses at shaytaan in public whilst you befriend him in solitude\u2019. Nabi-e-Kareem (SAW) warned that on the Day of Qiyamah the righteous deeds of such people will be scattered, and they will be left empty handed when appearing before Allah SWT. Fudhail bin \u2018Iyadh advised that he would reserve the opportunity of an accepted dua for the rulers, so that if they remain on the straight path so will the community, and there will be peace and stability in the Nation. <\/p>\n
