Material and Spiritual blessings -A great favour of Allah - Jaame Masjid Westville<\/h2>

Zikr Majlis<\/a>, at Westville<\/a> on January 26, 2017<\/span><\/p>

In Surah Ar-Rahman Allah SWT repeats the rhetorical question \u2018Fabi ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukadhiban\u2019 thirty eight times, in order to awaken our conscience. Allah SWT Himself says in the Holy Quran, if you try to count the favour of Allah you will never be able to encompass them. Allah SWT has blessed the Muslims in this country with so many blessings that hardly anywhere in the world can Muslims speak about the benefits which we are enjoying here. The material and spiritual blessings upon our community is a great favour of Allah SWT and requires a greater extent of humility and appreciation. Nabi-e-Kareem (SAW) has said that the one who enjoys the blessings of Allah with gratitude is equal to the one who fasts with patience, therefore there is no restriction or prohibition in enjoying the bounties of Allah SWT provided there is the necessary degree of gratitude. Allah SWT protects the Iman of some by giving them an abundance of material blessings, and others by preventing them from such material blessings. Whichever condition we find ourselves in we should be ever grateful to Allah SWT, and this entails complete obedience to Him. If a person acquires love for Allah SWT along with His recognition then the purpose of life has been achieved. <\/p>\n
