Giving up the Habit of Sin - Reservoir Hills Masjid<\/h2>

Nabi (SAW) mentioned 'Every child and every son of Aadam AS, except the Ambiyaa AS are sinners. The best of sinners are the Tawwaboon (those who make Taubah and repent)'. A person may either sin occasionally or accidentally, or they may be a habitual sinner who commits sins all the time without making the effort to repent and reform his life. As a person grows older, the habit of sin becomes stronger. Such a person will find great difficulty making Taubah, and at the time of death reading the Kalimah due to this habit. Nabi (SAW) mentioned 'that person whose last words are \"La illahah illallah\", Allah Ta'ala will cause him to enter Jannah'. How we lead our life is how Allah Ta'ala will grant us our death, and how our death comes is how we will be raised on the day of Qiyamah. Our actions should not be such that our death becomes a source of disgrace and humiliation. When we commit a sin we should immediately turn to Allah Ta'ala and seek his forgiveness rather than waiting for a specific occasion to make Taubah, as we have no guarantee such a time will come.<\/p>\n
