The life & times of Hz Mufti Saeed Ahmed Palanpuri RA - Radio Islam Interview<\/h2>

Radio<\/a>, at Radio Islam<\/a> on June 11, 2020<\/span><\/p>

On the demise of our most esteemed teacher, Mufti Sa\u2019eed Ahmed Palanpuri (R), I share some reflections from the perspective of a student. After completing the 5th year of the Aalim Course at Darul Uloom Azaadville, our class of 5 students traveled to Darul Uloom Deoband for the completion of our studies. Mufti Sa\u2019eed Ahmed Palanpuri (R) was at that time a Senior Ustadh in Daurah Hadith teaching Tirmidhi Shareef, well-known throughout the length and breadth of India, and in fact around the world, for the manner in which he delivered his lessons. In eagerness for proficiency in the English language, Mufti Palanpuri (R) requested this humble servant to come to his home every morning, which continued for the 2 year period of my studies at Darul Uloom Deoband. Mufti Palanpuri (R) is survived by 12 of his 14 children, who are all Huffaaz and Ulama and are engaged in various services of Deen. Due to his concern for their tarbiyah and ta\u2019leem, he employed an Aalim full-time only for this purpose! The awe of Mufti Palanpuri (R) and the unique and riveting manner in which he delivered his lessons convey a glimpse of his amazing personality. Mufti Palanpuri (R) visited South Africa on numerous occasions, his most recent visit being in May 2018. Mufti Palanpuri (R) despite his great knowledge and accomplishments, was a person of great simplicity, sincerity and humility, outstanding respect and lofty Taqwa, which are some of the great lessons to be learnt from his life.<\/p>\n
