Superstition in Islam
Jumuah, at Musjid-e-Noor, Asherville on December 13, 2013
Superstitions & superstitious beliefs have no basis in Islam. Islam is a pure Deen, a Deen of Tauheed. We have no mystical beliefs; Nabi SAW came to remove all wrong beliefs. We have Imaan & Yaqeen that benefit and harm only comes from Allah SWT & whatever ALLAH does for us, there is Khayr (goodness) in it, even though outwardly it may appear to be harmful to us. By strengthening this Yaqeen & divesting our minds from all kinds of superstitions & superstitious beliefs, then even in the most difficult of conditions, we will surrender & submit ourselves willingly to Allah SWT.
